MULTILEVEL ANALYSIS FOR APPLIED RESEARCH

Dear Readers:

When I wrote Multilevel Analysis for Applied Research, I did not anticipate readers’ interest is obtaining the data files used to produce examples. Dumb of me, I know, but it just did not occur to me. As a result, I did not keep copies of the hundreds of syntax files produced, and I did not keep a record of minor changes to various versions of data sets from one example to another. Consequently, if you reproduce a book example from the data sets on the website, you will sometimes get a close-but-not-quite result. For that I apologize.

Note, moreover, that the variables have not been centered and interaction terms have not been created. As needed, however, aggregation of variables to higher levels has been done.

Please feel free to contact me with any comments and questions.

Best regards,
Bob Bickel
